Dr. Peter Stys
Dr. Peter Stys is a neurologist, basic neuroscientist and a leader in the study of pathophysiological mechanisms of white matter injury. He completed his neurology training at the University of Toronto, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University. His lab studies disease mechanisms with a focus on MS and Alzheimer’s, two diseases that may have a lot more in common than previously thought.
