It is natural to wonder how MS might affect your ability to work. It isn’t possible to predict how MS might affect you, but the majority of people with MS lead fulfilling lives and continue working. Employers are becoming more adept at accommodating employees with chronic illness or disability. You need to know your rights when it comes to workplace accommodation. The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW)is available to support individuals to ensure equal treatment and access to employment.

Emily Jooste, Service Lead of The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW) Accommodation & Inclusion Management (AIM) , has worked for CCRW for over 10 years and has a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. She has extensive experience working with employers, employees and job seekers in all aspects of workplace accommodation.
