Parkinson Canada Round Table Kickoff 2021
Across Canada, most people living with Parkinson’s are faced with long wait times to getting a diagnosis, and many do not have access to specialized, multidisciplinary care.
Parkinson Canada plans to address this with the federal, provincial, and territorial governments, by advocating for a system of care that meets the needs of people affected by Parkinson’s.
To provide a strong foundation for our advocacy work, Parkinson Canada is holding virtual roundtables across Canada to discuss these issues, and learn from people living with Parkinson’s, caregivers, healthcare providers, and community organizations. The kick-off webinar will be an opportunity to learn more about our plans, as well as hearing from experts in Parkinson’s advocacy and models of care.
